It
is "the catalog of catalogs of law on the Internet". This searchable
database includes the following sections: Legal topics (catalogs classified

about the legal profession, organizations, publications).

- A good legal database organized by topic and resource.

Electronic Reference Desk Search - A very good general legal database.

Huge collection of links sorted by country and by topic.
Global
Legal Information Network Database (Law Library of Congress) - Here
you will find the search form of this database.
Hieros Gamos - Aims to be "the
largest and only comprehensive legal site". In addition to a huge
database organized by legal topic, here you can find many other useful
services.
P-Law: Legal Resource Locator
- This site is not updated since 2/20/95, but contains a wide range of
legal information sorted by topic and by resource.
W3 Lawyer - An
extremely useful database organized by legal topic and by legal resource.

articles about international legal issues, generally focused on business
law.

Law Dictionary (Ray August) -
It
is an "International Law Dictionary with links to international legal
materials on the Internet". For example, it provides a quick description
of many international treaties, as well as links to the related resources
on the Web. Easy to use, quite comprehensive (and it is growing fast...).
It is not limited to International Business Law, but major focus currently
is on this important field. Furthermore, at the same place you can consult
a regularly updated collection of links including these sections: Other
Dictionaries, Searches, Directories, News, Journals, Texts Courses, Libraries,
Schools, Firms, Associations, Calendar.

This
site hosts a little but regularly updated and well organized collection
of links to International Law materials on the Web, as well as a very interesting
tool: the International
Law Synopsis 1997. Take into account that the latter is not
the usual very concise course outline you can find elsewere, it is a quite
complete introduction to international law issues. Every topic is carefully
presented also by many references to electronic and traditional resources.
Therefore, it can be extremely useful at least for academic purposes.

At
the PCA home page you can find a presentation of the Court and a wide collection
of related legal texts.
- Public
International Law - A well organized guide to international law materials
off-line.
- Public
International Law - Notetaking Guide Index (Ray August) -
Here
you will not find much more than another International Law Syllabus put
on the Internet. But the Lecture Notes prepared by Prof. August are quite
detailed and carefully organized. All the major issues are well presented
(also with references to national and international case-law). Therefore,
a reading can be very interesting for both international law students and
professors. Furthermore, there is a number of Appendices, including an
useful "How to Brief Law Cases" that many students should consult...
- RAVE
(U. of Düsseldorf ) -
RAVE
(abbreviation of "Recherche von Artikeln aus dem Völker- und
Europarecht") is "a database for research of articles and decisions
in public international law and European law". The database "it
is almost complete as concerns German legal periodicals, and contains a
number of widely disseminated non-German periodicals" (you can look
at the list of the covered periodicals). RAVE permits research in English,
French and German. Have a look at the Manual
in order to know how you may research for articles and decisions in your
specific field of interest. Take into account that RAVE covers from 1995
onwards and does not provide the full texts of articles and decisions.
However, it goes without saying that it is a very useful service.

Index - This searchable database indexes more tham 8,000 treaties to
wich the U.S. is a signatory. No texts but provides a (not free) service
called "Treaties on Demand".
- United Nations Treaty full
text searchable Data Base - No texts but provides information on the
status of multilateral treaties.
